But we’re visual creatures. Before you say a word, people have already decided how to treat you based on how you present yourself. Not because they’re evil… it’s just human nature. It’s a built-in warning system.
Pretty privilege is real.
But more than that, presentation privilege is real.
It’s not just about being “pretty”, it’s how you carry yourself, how put-together you look, the energy you give before you even open your mouth.
And listen, you can call it shallow all you want… but if the world is already responding to visuals, why not use that to your advantage?
This isn’t about losing yourself or being fake.
It’s about understanding the game being played… and choosing to play it well.
Because opportunities don’t always wait for your personality to introduce itself.

Skin in Bin was giving skincare university, but make it warm, welcoming, and easy to understand. The depth? Serious. The delivery? Chef’s kiss. My inner ingredient nerd was fed.

Also shout out to .bb and for the goodie bag goodies because I love leaving an event educated and moisturized.

And let me tell you, it was so good hanging with the skincare girlies just a bunch of glow getters comparing textures and acting like we don’t already have full bathroom shelves.

She was told it was a "birthday" thing. Easy sell. Birthday close by, vibes calm, nobody suspicious. Meanwhile, the group chat was in shambles, payments flying, plans changing hourly, and everybody playing a role they did not sign up for 😭
Major shoutout to the angels at .bds and , because the way we had to whisper, signal, and speed explain the plan every time she turned her back?? Elite customer service. They understood the assignment immediately and guided her into the right outfits without blowing the cover. Impeccable. Ten stars.
Huge love to for working with us, the budget, the timing, and letting us hold a small private gathering while the space was still open. If you ever want a chill beach day or an intimate group moment with good energy, food, and flexibility, definitely check them out.
To the friends and family who contributed money, time, decor, photos, planning, heavy lifting, emotional support, and pure vibes… THIS was community in real time. Everybody did a little something, and it added up to something beautiful.
And to our officiant, thank you for being patient with a group of people who absolutely did not know what they were doing 😭 but still guided us through it with grace.

I came for the education and somehow enrolled full time at Menopause University with with a minor in cocktails.
We talked hormones, hot flashes, communication, lifestyle changes, herbs, supplements, exercise…
Then said, “okay, but what if we cool yuh down AND warm yuh up?” and boom, syllabus updated 🍸🔥❄️
Men learning, women laughing, families getting educated, and everybody realizing menopause is not madness, it’s just science… with vibes.
If your hot flashes need facts AND flavour, this was the class.
Attendance: mandatory. Graduation: tipsy.
