Chocolate Muffins
Ingredients
250g of common wheat flour (all purpose)
300g of sugar
4 eggs
190 ml of milk
100g of melted margarine
3 g salt (approx. 1⁄2 teaspoon)
50g cocoa powder (no sugar)
20g of baking powder (approx. 1 spoonful )
Preparation step by step
Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Place paper pods in a muffin mold (12 cavities).
Mix the dry ingredients:
In a large bowl, sift the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt. Mix well and reserve.
Beat eggs with sugar:
In another bowl, beat eggs with sugar until the mixture is foamy and light in color.
Add liquids:
Incorporate milk and melted margarine (already warm, not hot) into the egg and sugar mixture. Mix until you combine.
Put together the mixes:
Add the dry ingredients to the liquid mixture, little by little, mixing with a hand be**er or spatula until it forms a homogeneous, lump-free dough.
Pour into the mold:
Fill each muffin capsule up to 3⁄4 of its capacity with the mix.
Baking:
Take to the preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes, or until inserting a stick in the center, it comes out clean.
Chill and serve:
Remove from oven, let cool for 5 minutes in mold then transfer to a grate until fully coated
