The reggae community has lost a great Sistren: Carien ‘Lucky Girl’ van Os, from Maastricht, The Netherlands 🇳🇱 I had the honour to know her for more than 20 years. She was always there, at almost every reggae concert or festival. I remember one time, when I was 16 years old, she traveled all the way from Maastricht to Tilburg, only to see me perform a couple songs… She was definately one of the biggest ambassadors of reggae music. Carien will be missed dearly by so many people! Let us never forget this strong and powerful woman. Rise in power Lucky Girl! ❤️💛💚

One of my all-time favourite reggae songs: Show Love by Pressure Busspipe 🇻🇮 Probably also one of the most unknown and undertated tunes by this artist…

Despite the fact that the song was on the ‘Love and Affection’ album it received little attention. The only video of this tune on YouTube only reached 56k views in 16 years! Of course it didn’t help that Pressure later released another track with the same song title… Hopefully this video will help to give this great tune a larger reach after all! 🌍
