"I am Yangchen Dema, a native of Chumey, and my life's journey has been a testament to resilience and entrepreneurship. Circumstances forced me to abandon my studies after the fifth standard when my mother passed away, leaving me with basic literary and arithmetic skills. Undeterred, I embraced my innate entrepreneurial spirit.

I took the reins of the Milk Group Cooperative in Chumey, successfully steering its operations for over three years. Subsequently, I ventured into my own business, managing a thriving general shop and grocery in Chumey town for the past four years.

My culinary passion led me to produce Bumthang Jangbali and P**a at home, and the response from clients in Bumthang, Thimphu, Gelephu, and other Dzongkhags has been overwhelming.

Now, I am embarking on a new venture, "Tara Noodles Product," with a vision to establish a factory producing authentic Bumthang noodles—Jangbali and P**a. Despite their popularity and health benefits, these traditional delicacies are not widely available outside Bumthang.

The factory will use locally sourced buckwheat and barley, the traditional crops of Bumthang Valley, ensuring the production of high-quality, authentic noodles. My goal is to share the rich flavors of Bhutanese cuisine beyond our region, preserving our culinary heritage with every strand of noodles produced."
