Today 15/5/26 marks the 2nd Foundation Day of my Black Mountain Green Tea journey, and this year it feels even more special as it coincides with my birthday. 🎉🌿

What started as a small dream continues to grow through hard work, dedication, and the courage to face many challenges along the way. The journey has never been easy, but every obstacle has taught me valuable lessons and made me stronger and more determined to move forward.

My dream has always been more than just building a business. I sincerely hope that Black Mountain Green Tea can bring positive change and opportunities to our beloved Samcholing Village. helping create a community that is stronger, independent, sustainable, and filled with happiness for future generations.

On this meaningful day, I pray that Ken Cho Sum continues to bless and guide me on the right path, giving me wisdom, strength, and humility to serve my community with honesty and good intentions.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported, encouraged, and believed in this journey. Though the journey is still small, the dream for Samcholing is big, hopeful, and full of purpose.

This prestigious event brings together many talented entrepreneurs and businesses from across the region, creating a vibrant platform for cultural exchange, trade, and collaboration. We are proud to represent Bhutan and showcase the rich taste and quality of our Bhutanese green tea to visitors from around the world.

As we celebrate this special occasion, Black Mountain Green Tea (BMGT) joins the nation in paying heartfelt tribute to our beloved Third Druk Gyalpo, His Majesty Jigme Dorji Wangchuck, who laid the foundation for Bhutan’s modernization through his visionary leadership and deep commitment to education.

We also honor the invaluable contributions of all teachers—past and present—who continue to nurture the minds and spirits of Bhutan’s future generations. Your dedication, compassion, and wisdom are the pillars upon which a brighter, more enlightened Bhutan is being built.

On April 16, we had the privilege of meeting with the matcha tea expert Mr. Suguru Tokubuchi and Mrs. Madoka from Japan.

We hope that in the future we will be able to produce premium-quality matcha products from Samcholing village.🍵💚
