Happy Day of the African Child! 🌍✨ Today we honor the legacy of the 1976 Soweto youth by fighting for the rights of the 600+ million children across Africa today. This year, as we focus on ensuring universal access to water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) for every child across our continent, we are reminded that basic dignity is a fundamental right, not a privilege. We fight for an Africa where no child misses school due to a lack of clean water or safe sanitation. Let us commit to building an environment where our youngest citizens do not just survive, but truly thrive, create, and lead!🔥

After every possible effort was made to meet all requirements and deadlines, it is with sincere regret that we formally announce that Eilleen May Moapare, our reigning Miss Teen Elite Botswana, will be unable to participate in this year's edition of the Mini Model World Organizacion Pageant in Bogotá, Colombia due to unforeseen visa processing delays which resulted in unmet travel deadlines.

Despite the disappointment over the turn of events, we continue to pledge ourselves towards the mentorship, empowerment, and development of young girls and women, and aim to continue pursuing future international opportunities for representation. We sincerely thank her family, sponsors, partners, supporters, and the wider pageant community for your encouragement and understanding during this time.
