“Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life”

Amen ❤️

Christmas ends, Jesus does not.

The birth of Christ was one of the most celebrated events this past week, with a billion or more people across the globe rejoicing in God's precious Gift.

But the birth of Jesus is only the beginning. We read in the Bible that Jesus would grow up as a child, as a teenager, as a young adult, and then ultimately begin His earthly ministry in His 30s. Just as prophesied in the Old Testament, He would heal the sick, give sight the blind, and preach sermons of righteousness.

But the biggest thing Jesus ever did, was give freely give His life on a cross for the forgiveness of sins. Through that unconditional act of love, we can be washed clean and adopted into the family of God. We are a new creation, indwelled by the Holy Spirit, and walk in the light. We give testimony to the world of what God has done for us, and what He can do for everyone who is willing to hear.

Jesus came to this earth to be born in a lowly manger, and we rejoice daily in this. But He didn't stay a baby. He lived, He died, and He rose again from the grave so that we can have life in His name. He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords and deserves honor from us all 365 days of the year. The Christmas season is over, but we can still walk with the Savior each day.

Worship doesn't always fix the situation. It won't make the bills disappear or take the pain away in an instant.

But here's what it does:
It anchors you.
It centers your soul when your world is spinning.
It drowns out the voice of fear and reminds you, God is still in control.

Worship shifts the focus from the problem to the Promise Keeper. From the storm to the One who speaks to the waves. From anxiety to assurance.

It doesn't make you forget what you're facing but it reminds you who's standing with you. And sometimes, the peace that floods your heart in worship is the breakthrough you've been praying for.

The best sermons are lived, not preached.

Lord, I can talk about faith all day, but help me actually live it.

I can quote scripture, post prayers, and speak truth, but none of it matters if my life doesn't back it up.

The world doesn't need more words, it needs to see Your love in action.

Help me be a living sermon.

Let my patience in hard moments speak louder than my Sunday morning declarations.

Let my kindness to difficult people preach better than any pulpit ever could.

Let my faithfulness in the unseen places testify to who You are.

Teach me that my life is my message, and people are watching how I respond when things don't go my way, how I treat others when no one's looking, how I trust You when everything falls apart.

I don't want to just talk about You, I want to reflect You.

Let my actions preach the gospel more powerfully than my words ever could.

The best sermons are lived, not preached, so help me live one worth watching.

So many today want the comfort of Jesus without the commitment to Him. They want His healing hands but not His guiding voice. They want His peace but not His authority. But Jesus cannot just be our therapist, He must be our Lord. Because true healing doesn’t just come from being comforted; it comes from being changed.

When you let Him lead, He won’t just soothe your pain—He’ll transform your heart. He’ll take the very things that broke you and use them to build you. Healing is found not in holding on to control, but in surrendering it.

Let Jesus be more than your comforter, let Him be your King. Let Him lead you, correct you, and shape you. Because real freedom is found not in doing life your way, but in walking fully in His. 🤍🙏🏻

One of the greatest tragedies in the church is that, there are many, MANY people who think they are Christians, but they are not.

Nowhere in Scripture does it say, “if you ask Jesus into your heart, you will be saved.”

The Bible teaches that we must repent, and turn from our sin.

Belief in Jesus is more than acknowledging that He is God.

Even the devil knows this.

True belief in Jesus requires that we submit ourselves to Him.

True belief results in a desire to follow Jesus.

To follow Jesus requires that we deny ourselves and take up our cross to follow Him.

And if we are truly following Jesus, the evidence of the fruits of the Holy Spirit will be seen in our lives.

There are many people who are banking their salvation on the fact that one time in their life, they asked Jesus to “come into their heart” and that’s all they needed to do.

It will be a sad day for them when one day, they stand before Jesus, calling Him “Lord, Lord,” and He says to them, “Away from me you workers of iniquity, I never knew you.”

Good morning
Don’t forget to get your daily nutrients by reading the word daily 🥰

Photoshop of the day - Our daily bread

Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. (Matthew 6:11-15)
