HERBS FOR A BETTER SLEEP 💤🌿
Every day, we have people come into the shop looking for an herb to help them get a better night's sleep.
One of the first questions we ask is, "what's keeping you awake or preventing you from sleeping?"
Is it a racing mind? Accumulated stress that you can't seem to shake? Trouble falling asleep? Trouble staying asleep?
The answers to these questions matter deeply because not all sleep herbs work in the same way. Herbalism isn't a one size fits all and it isn't about finding the "strongest" herb, it's about finding the one that's the best fit for that individual person and their unique experience.
These are a few of our favourite herbs for general sleep support, along with the situations we'd traditionally use them for. We hope it helps you better understand the unique strengths of each of these herbs and which one might be best suited to you. 💛

We had the most incredible weekend at Canadian Herb Conference on Vancouver Island this weekend! We are so grateful to sponsor and attend this event every year - it’s always such an educational, inspiring and heartwarming event 💫
This year we got to learn from some of the most iconic people in herbal medicine - Rosemary Gladstar, David Winston and Nancy Turner. We also got to learn (again) from some of our incredible friends and colleagues, and got to connect with so many incredible new people. We are feeling so inspired and exciting for that all is to come!!

No professional experience required - we're just looking for someone who has a passion for creating aromatherapy, skincare and bath & body products. On the job training will be provided, but being comfortable making candles, soap and being able to work with strong scents is a must for this position! 🌼

Finding a natural beauty brand that fit into our shop was a lot harder than we expected - but we finally did it.

New Workshop: Introduction to Natural Skincare & the Foundations of Healthy Skin hosted by our very own 🌱💛
The skincare world can feel overwhelming. Endless products, complicated routines, and trends that change every week. This workshop is a chance to slow down, learn about the foundations of healthy skin and understand what your skin really needs.
Together, we’ll explore natural skincare from the inside out. You’ll learn about what to watch for when deciding on which skincare products you want to use, how the skin functions, how to build a sustainable routine, and how plants and natural materials can be used to nourish your skin!
You'll also have the opportunity to blend your own face mask using herbs, superfoods, mineral rich clays and more. We'll help you tailor the mask specifically to your skin!
This is an approachable, beginner-friendly class designed to help you feel more confident reading labels, choosing products, and caring for your skin naturally.
