5 COLORS. ONE MAJOR COLOR CORRECTION. โจ
This hair came with a complex history: multiple rounds of bleach, box dye, fashion colors, five different tones, and existing damage.
The challenge wasnโt simply changing the color. It was correcting uneven tones, controlling unwanted pigments, and creating a more balanced result while protecting the integrity of already compromised hair.
With careful analysis, strategic formulation, and controlled processing, this complex color correction was completed in a very limited amount of time.
Complex history. Smart correction. Beautiful transformation.

๐ง WHATโS YOUR HAIR POROSITY?
Hair porosity isnโt simply about whether your hair feels dry. It describes how easily water enters the hair โ and how easily it leaves.
And hereโs something important:
the float test alone can be misleading.
Surface tension, product residue, and even the diameter of the strand can affect whether hair floats or sinks. So instead of relying on one test, pay attention to three signals together:
๐ง Wetting โ Does water bead on the surface or spread quickly?
โฑ๏ธ Drying โ After washing, does your hair dry unusually slowly or quickly?
๐งด Product response โ Do products absorb easily, or do they seem to sit on the surface?
LOW POROSITY
Water tends to enter and leave more gradually. Products may build up more easily.
โ Keep products lightweight
โ Clarify when buildup appears
โ Use lightweight conditioner
โ Gentle warmth can help โ avoid excessive heat
MEDIUM POROSITY
Moisture exchange is generally more balanced and controlled.
โ Condition regularly
โ Use heat protection
โ Maintain the balance
โ Avoid repeated chemical or heat damage
HIGH POROSITY
Water can enter quickly โ but it can also escape quickly. Chemical processing, weathering and accumulated damage can increase porosity.
โ Use a good conditioning system
โ Add a film-forming leave-in
โ Hydrolyzed protein may help when tolerated
โ Reduce repeated bleaching and excessive heat
โจ And remember: one head can have more than one porosity.
Your roots, mid-lengths and ends may behave completely differently. Thatโs why choosing haircare based only on a label like โlowโ or โhigh porosityโ can sometimes lead you in the wrong direction.
Choose your haircare by how your hair behaves โ not just by a label.

Kids long haircut
Before you decide to cut it all off, ask yourself: is your hair actually damaged, or has it simply been misunderstood?
I see this all the time. Someone comes in convinced they need to lose several inches because their hair feels dry, looks frizzy, or wonโt cooperate. But once we talk about their routine, the real problem starts to show.
Sometimes itโs the wrong shampoo. Sometimes itโs too much heat, not enough moisture, product buildup, or treatments that donโt match their hair type. Even a good product can work against you if it isnโt right for your hair.
Yes, split ends and seriously damaged sections need to be trimmed. But that doesnโt mean every dry or unruly strand has to go. In many cases, the right products, a better routine, and a small, thoughtful trim can completely change how your hair looks and feels.
The difference is knowing what your hair actually needs instead of guessing.
Before making a big change, talk to a stylist who takes the time to understand your hair. You might be surprised by how much length you can keepโand how beautiful your hair can look with the right care.
Sometimes, the answer isnโt cutting more. Itโs caring better.
