There are many reasons why updos can
end up looking messy, but the #1 mistake I hear from
my students is that they use hairspray at the end to
clean up the hair and ask me why it doesn’t work.
The problem is that hairspray is not a frizz control
product. It’s also not meant to only be used at the end
of a style.
Clean updos require the right frizz control products
from the start. Once the frizz is controlled, hairspray
can then be used to lock the style into place.
