I’m not going to tell you to do what I think would look best, make my job easier, or keep my schedule full.

I want to educate you on your options, explain why certain choices may or may not be in your best interest based on the goals you’ve shared with me, and give you the information you need to make the right choice for YOU.

Because knowledge is power.

And you deserve the power to make informed decisions that align with your vision, schedule, and budget—without feeling coerced or pressured.

🚨 If your choppy layers look choppy when your hair is straight, they ain't cut right.

The "choppy layers" you know and love aren’t created by cutting choppy—they’re created by styling blended layers to look that way.

Why does this matter? Versatility. I want my clients to be able to wear their hair straight, wavy, curly, or whatever, without their haircut limiting their styling options.

That's also why I blend my layers without thinning shears, razors, or texturizing.

Example? This gorgeous girl! Her layers look bold and super noticeable when we style them, but if she wears her hair naturally straight, they're perfectly seamless. That's the ✨️magic✨️ of a well-blended haircut.

The goal is versatility, not a haircut that only looks good one way.

If you always cut your hair above your terminal length, you never get to see its natural edges.

But if you ever decide to grow your hair as long as you literally can, you’ll eventually see and experience the natural perimeter of your hair.

And if you want to preserve as much of it as possible, you’ll need to cut it in a shape that works with that natural perimeter. 👌

Do you hear yourselves?

It's no one's place to say things like this.

We can't control our thoughts, and judging people is a natural part of the way our brains work. But to make the choice to not keep it to yourself and actually say it to someone... says a lot.

It says that you're superficial from thinking that how someone's hair looks to you is more important than the comfort it brings to them.
It says that you think your opinion of someone else's body is more valid than their own.
And worst of all, when you cross the line into saying what someone "should" do with their appearance, it demonstrates a shameless disrespect for bodily autonomy.
