I’m still trying to wrap my head around this…
I WON the August Soap Challenge Club — Expert Category! 🥹🏆
This one was a BIG challenge for me. I created my own transparent soap base from scratch, built the mountain landscape with soap dough embeds, and then assembled the entire design layer by layer in transparent soap.
The finished soap, “A Little Piece of Serenity,” was inspired by our recent trip through the mountains — a place that brings me so much peace and grounding. 💙🏔️
There were some incredibly talented soapmakers in this challenge, so to have my work chosen as the winner honestly means so much to me.
And after all the testing, troubleshooting, carving, pouring, photographing, filming, editing, and questioning whether I was actually at an expert level… 😂
I think I can finally say:
Yep. I belong here. ❤️

🏔️✨ A Little Piece of Serenity ✨🏔️
I DID IT! My entry for the Soap Challenge Club August 2026 Challenge has officially been submitted! 🎉
This soap was inspired by my recent vacation through the mountains. Being surrounded by the mountains has always made me feel grounded and brings a sense of peace to my soul, so I wanted to capture a little bit of that feeling in soap.
This month’s challenge pushed me WAY outside my comfort zone. I created my own transparent soap base and built this landscape layer by layer, using soap dough to create the mountains, trees, and birds. I also experimented with creating clouds suspended in the crystal-clear sky and finished the scene with a clear mountain lake and pebble shoreline. 🏔️🌲☁️🦅
The whole piece is scented with bergamot essential oil. 🍋✨
I'm incredibly proud of how far this project pushed me creatively, and I'm so excited to finally share it!
