Coming this January 🍼❤️ so excited to say Jesse and I are growing our family!!! My heart is so full, it's been such an incredible change already. For my clients, I'll be working until just before Christmas and I am gathering a list of amazing stylists that can help you out during my maternity leave 🥰🥰

As some of you know, I've started wearing a respirator for some color based services. The change happened because I started to feel dizzy and sick after lengthy bleach services. I was scared I would have to say goodbye to some of my favorite services to provide, but I genuinely love my job... I love making Calgary more colorful!

And guess what? The respirator works! I feel great even after a full day of big color changes. Looking back, bleach has been slowly taking a toll on me for a very long time, probably for the last 6 or more years. I always got headaches, vertigo and extreme exhaustion after big color jobs. But I thought it was because I poured my soul into it, not because I was reacting to constant long term exposure.

I wanted to share so that my fellow hair artists can consider this as an option too! I know I'm not alone in developing allergies and sensitivities to the products we work with, but wearing the proper protection can make a world of difference. I was really scared about what my clients would think, but they've all been so understanding and supportive. So I'm here to say, DO IT! Care for your health stylists ❤️ we deserve to do what we love and feel good.

Galactic hair 😍 and the tinsel in there?!? So beautiful. I literally saw my sister walking around while we were at the rec room and without realizing it was her I thought "oh boy that hair is pretty" only to realize I was complimenting myself😂
