Trying to focus on having fun and exploring a bit of creativity with makeup!

Makeup can serve a lot of purposes but one of them for me is adding a bit of whimsy and joy into my life! So yes, I going to wear silver, glittery eyeshadow on a random afternoon. Yay!

✨ 10 years ago. 2016. ✨

I was 31, newly engaged to the love of my life, and we got married later that same year 🤍
I was living in Marylebone, London, working on the makeup counter inside the giant on Oxford Street, right beside Bond Street station—and honestly? It was THRILLING.

I worked alongside so many younger women who taught me so much—about makeup, confidence, friendship, and fun. They took me out, welcomed me in, and never once judged me for being 10+ years older. I’ll always be grateful for that.

That year I also worked for .beauty , and by the end of it I was hired to recruit makeup artists to work in Selfridges, Liberty, Harrods, and other iconic London stores. I did my first freelance makeup jobs. I experimented constantly—on clients and very much on myself 😅

Did all my makeup look good?
Absolutely not 😂
Some of it was… tragic.

But looking back now, I’m so proud of that girl. She was brave. She tried. She failed loudly. She grew anyway.

2016 was about self-growth, self-love, new beginnings, excitement, and learning who I was becoming.

And honestly?
I still want that same energy.
I still want to experiment.
I still want to risk failing—or looking like an idiot—because that’s where the magic is.

✨ Here’s to 2026.
Still learning. Still growing. Still proud. ✨

Sending love to Gina and Harriett!! 💕💕💕
