After many years, Hannahb.hair has officially become Studio H.

It might seem like a small change, but this one feels big to me. I built my career under Hannahb.hair, and it’s been part of so many milestones and memories along the way.

As much as it’s bittersweet to let it go, Studio H feels like a better reflection of who I am today and the space I want to continue creating for all of you.

It’s me, Hannah

I figured it was finally time to re-introduce myself for all the new faces here.

I’ve been in the hair industry since 2013, specializing in long hair and soft blondes + brunettes. Creating lived-in, effortless hair that still feels elevated, has always been my favourite thing. I am SO lucky to be working in such a creative, diverse space at alongside some of my long-time friends and colleagues.

Hair has honestly been part of my life from the very beginning. It was my first real job, and I haven’t looked back since. People always ask me, “When did you know you wanted to be a hairstylist?” and my answer is ALWAYS. Ever since I started doing my own hair, my sisters’ hair, my friends’ hair, and basically anyone else who would let me practice.

Funny enough, I’m actually not the loudest person in the room. I was never the kid getting in trouble for talking too much, or trying to be the center of attention. Actually the complete opposite, if you can believe it. But this industry has pushed me out of my comfort zone in the best way possible. It has introduced me to so many amazing people, countless opportunities, and priceless friendships that I wouldn’t trade for anything.

With every passing day, I still love creating hair that makes people feel like the best version of themselves, while also making my chair feel comfortable, welcoming, and low pressure.

So whether you’ve been here since day one or you’re brand new, hi 🫶🏻 I’m really happy you’re here. Love ya’ll forever plus a day xox

When a longtime blonde client says “I want to go dark”

Immediate anxiety 🥲

I am not the type of person to dive right in. I take a step back, ask a million questions, and make sure we’re on the same page. Why? Because going dark is a big change! My job is to guide you through the process and make sure you’re prepared for the future, whether that’s staying dark or going back to blonde (that’s a whole other ballgame that I won’t torture you with).

Now that I’m done rambling, please enjoy the before and after… because it’s fckin beautiful.

There’s something so special about being the one to give someone their very first hair transformation. Watching their reaction, the excitement, and that glow in the mirror never gets old. It’s honestly why I love this job so much
