Why your full set actually takes 2+ hours. ⏱️✨
Okay babe, you have about 150 to 200 natural lashes on each eye...My job is to isolate and bond a custom, handmade volume fan onto every single one of them!
That means while you are napping, I am hand crafting 300 to 400 tiny masterpieces with microscopic precision. If someone is ripping through a volume set in 45min? Sets are heavy, clumping and damaging your lash health.
Period.
Making a handmade fan looks easy, but the muscle memory is insane.
I pull the lashes off the strip and bring them to my flower cup. This is where the real skill lives: Pressure control. To get that wide, fluffy top and that razor sharp, pinched base, you can’t just squeeze for dear life.
You pull them into the groove of the cup and then ever soooo slightly loosen your grip. It’s a microscopic movement.
• Hold too tight? The fan stays clamped and boxy. Lashes bend.
• Relax your hand a fraction of a millimeter too much? The whole fan falls apart.
Constantly balancing the pressure of your fingertips to get perfect symmetry before you dip. It takes steady hands, lazer focus, and years of practice.
