Blend and Bloom Salon

Blend and Bloom began in late 2018 as a shared vision between two best friends who wanted a small salon to call their own. Over the course of almost 8 years, it became a second home for us and our guests to build and nurture friendships, to be vulnerable, and to simply be our authentic selves. We’ve laughed, we’ve cried, and all the while, we’ve done some incredible hair. We really do have something special here within these walls, and that is something we don’t take for granted.

A big change is on our horizon: as of October 1st, Kaylee will be operating out of her stunning new salon space in Harmony called Malt and Honey. As time goes on, it’s become increasingly apparent that the ability for each of us to work within close proximity to where we live is important for a more sustainable work-life balance. After working side-by-side since 2014, this will be a massive adjustment for ourselves and our clients alike, but we suppose it has to happen eventually!

Jessica will continue operating Blend and Bloom in its existing location downtown within District Studios.

Thank you all for both your past and future support, and for your patience as we iron out some of the kinks throughout this transition process. While this is the end of an era, we know it’s simply to make room for a new one to unfold, and we are both excited for what’s ahead. Make sure to follow along with Kaylee at Kaylee Van Aalst.
