Grey blending before and after. This beautiful client came in knowing exactly which silver pieces she loved, and we built the whole design around them. Highlights and lowlights placed to make those pieces the feature instead of something to hide.
This is my favourite kind of appointment.
Your grey hair isn't just a different colour. It's a different texture.
That's the part nobody tells you. As the pigment goes, the hair itself changes. It often feels drier and more wiry, especially around your temples and hairline, because your scalp produces less oil over time.
So if you've been thinking your hair "stopped behaving," it didn't. It just started asking for something different.
And here's what surprises people most: that doesn't go away once you're fully grown out.
A lot of women assume the finish line is silver hair and no more salon visits. But the texture is still there. Grey hair still needs the right toning to stay bright instead of turning dull or yellow, still needs treatments built for coarser, drier strands, and still needs a cut that works with how it actually moves.
