"My name is Edyta, and I work for Beauty & Massage by Edyta. I am a woman driven on my own path, and I am deeply dedicated to my family and my work. After completing my VTCT levels, I started working for myself and for the Gonville Hotel at Gresham Spa. There was a lot to do, and sometimes I worked all day long, in addition to seeing my regular salon clients. As a result, I experienced a lot of leg pain. I never gave up, so I visited a massage therapist, but there was no improvement; in fact, I felt more pain and was achy all over.Having practiced acupuncture in the past, I still had needles. Since the pain was keeping me from sleeping, I decided to treat my calf—and I did! I found a painful spot and put a needle deep into the pain. I also addressed the tension in my face and lay down on the couch for about an hour. I will never forget that when I removed the needles, I felt like all the pain was gone. The following days brought a change in me, and I looked at the world differently. Soon after, I completed two courses at Breeze Academy—one fundamental and one advanced. I am really proud, but seeing how acupuncture has developed and how many schools teach different methods makes me eager to keep learning. If you have chronic pain and would like to improve your life, here I am. I now combine acupuncture with massage to help relieve your discomfort."
