Here’s the part nobody really talks about.

I have access to basically every product and treatment in this industry. I know what works, I know how to use it.

And I still wake up some mornings looking tired, because I am tired. Not a skin problem, just a life problem. Owning a business, two kids, a very busy calendar. No treatment fixes that, it just takes sleep that I’m not always getting.

I think somewhere along the way I built up this idea that doing this work meant I’d graduated out of having bad skin days. That’s not really how any of this works, for me or for anyone. Treatments help. They don’t cancel out a busy week.

So if you’ve got a great routine and you’re still having a tired week, you’re not doing anything wrong. You’re just a person. Me too.

Some days feel like they’re held together with coffee, hockey gear, and a calendar that makes zero sense. This is mine.

Business owner, injector, mom and most days all three within the same hour, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

This one is personal. Before Skinjections, I spent many years as a palliative care nurse, walking alongside patients and families through incredibly difficult times. That work shaped who I am, and palliative care will always be close to my heart.
Aesthetic nursing and palliative nursing might look like opposite ends of the spectrum, but they come from the same place for me: caring for people with dignity, presence, and compassion, at every stage of life.
