It was my second lash lift model testing out the updated Cysteamine formula. First that I’ve done in over 2 years. So a little rusty…but I made THE biggest rookie mistake ever and my stomach TANKED when I saw the rogue 3 in the outer corner.
Don’t make the same mistake I did with a paying client: always double check your upper lash line to make sure you didn’t accidentally tape any lashes down with the bottom layer!

the most common question i get asked in training is how to get fine bb lashes to stick.
answer: I DONT 🤭
when lifting from the root, baby lashes are better off ignored, and teenager lashes are better off with some slack.
why? ➡️
here’s why:
- avoids overprocessing — bc YES! 100% Cysteamine lifting solutions can STILL overprocess lashes!!!!!!
- it’s wayyy better of a grow out
= happier customers = better rebooking rate

if your client feels stinging, something’s off. here’s how to keep it comfortable:
- contacts out before you start
- keep product out of the eyes
- eyes closed to avoid fumes
- tint away from the lash line
- check in with your client throughout
