The Lash & Brow Rehab™ protocol works on the brow line using exactly the same framework as the lash protocol.
Cleanse. Assess. Infuse with the TapTapGlow™ device and Glow Tips™ cartridges, following the natural direction of brow hair growth. Steam mask for recovery and client comfort. Done.
One certification. One device. One framework. Whether the client needs lash support, brow support, or both.

Is Lash & Brow Rehab certification worth it? Let's talk about what you are actually paying for.
Clients are increasingly choosing their lash and brow professional based on who can explain what is happening to their lashes and brows, not just who applies the fastest set or the tightest lift. Right now, almost nobody in this space has that language. That gap is the opportunity, and it will not stay open forever.
Certification gives you the framework, the device, the protocol, and the credibility to be the person in your market who can have that conversation. It is a service you can run for years, priced well, that turns one time visits into long term recurring relationships.
The kit and training pay for themselves in the first handful of sessions. The positioning, being first in your market with an answer nobody else has, is worth a great deal more than that.

The conversation about Cumulative Lash & Brow Stress does not need to be clinical. And it definitely should not sound like a sales pitch. Here is how we approach it.
Start with what you are observing, not what you are selling. Something like: I have been noticing that your lashes have been behaving a little differently lately. Has your retention felt shorter to you? Or: your curl is not holding quite the same way it used to. Do you notice that at home?
When she says yes, and she usually does because she has noticed too and has not known how to bring it up, you have an opening. That is when you explain, calmly and without blame, what Cumulative Lash & Brow Stress is and why it is happening.
You do not have to change what you are doing. There is a structured protocol called Lash & Brow Rehab that I am certified in. It sits between your services. It supports the foundation underneath the work we do together.
That is the conversation. An observation, an explanation, and an offer. In that order.

We have shared this question a few times now. We are sharing it again, not because we have run out of things to say, but because every week there are professionals landing on this page for the first time who have been asking this exact question for years and have not found a real answer yet.
Fifteen years of lash work, thousands of clients, and one question that never had a satisfying industry answer. Why do results change, even when nothing about the service, the technique, or the client's habits has changed?
The answer is Cumulative Lash & Brow Stress. The gradual build of mechanical load, chemical processing, growth cycle disruption, and natural biological shifts that happen over time, across every appointment, every habit, every season. Even when everything is being done correctly.
We built the Lash & Brow Rehab™ framework, the TapTapGlow™ protocol, and the Cumulative Lash & Brow Stress education around this answer. If you are here for the first time, welcome. If you have been following along, thank you. The question has not changed. But now there is an answer.

Two very different brow clients. One entered the industry's chair.
The first has been filling in sparse brows since the late 90s, when heavy tweezing was the trend. Years of repeated mechanical disruption to the follicle area, even if she stopped tweezing a decade ago, leaves a cumulative history the brow is still carrying.
The second has not over-tweezed. Her brows simply started to change in her early 40s. Slightly less dense than they were. Not responding to styling products the same way. No clear cause, just a gradual shift she cannot explain.
These are different stories with different causes. But they arrive at the same place. A brow follicle environment that has experienced cumulative stress, whether from mechanical disruption, hormonal change, or the quiet accumulation of repeated chemical services, and has never had structured foundation support.
Lash & Brow Rehab™ is the same protocol for both. Not because the cause is the same, but because the missing layer is.

Does brow lamination damage brows? A single, well-performed lamination does not damage brow hair. The chemical process works on the visible hair shaft only, not the follicle beneath. When performed correctly and spaced appropriately, a lash or brow lamination is a safe cosmetic procedure.
The more accurate question is what happens with repeated lamination over time, without structured foundation support between treatments.
Brow lamination works by chemically breaking and reforming the internal disulfide bonds of each hair, allowing it to be redirected and set in a new position. When this process is repeated across many treatments without conditioning support in between, the cumulative effect on the fiber itself begins to show. The hair becomes progressively drier and more porous. It may process less evenly. It may lose some of its natural flexibility and resilience.
This is not damage from a single appointment, it is cumulative cosmetic stress from many, without a foundation layer to keep the fiber balanced in between.
Lash & Brow Rehab™ is designed to provide that foundation layer. Not to replace lamination, but to support the brow fiber between treatments so each one starts from a more conditioned baseline.

Most clients who stop extensions expect their lashes to bounce back within a few weeks. Sometimes they do. Sometimes they do not, and there is usually a reason.
Pausing extensions removes the source of ongoing mechanical load, and that is an important first step. But it does not address what has already accumulated in the follicle environment. Buildup on the lash line. A fiber that has become drier and more porous from repeated adhesive exposure and removal. Growth cycles that have been disrupted over time.
A lash that has experienced significant cumulative stress does not simply reset because the extensions came off. It needs active support during the recovery window, which is exactly the gap Lash & Brow Rehab™ is designed to fill.
Removing the stressor is the start. Supporting what comes next is the actual work.

Let's look at what adding Lash & Brow Rehab™ to a client's routine actually does to how often she comes back.
A client on a regular extension schedule typically books every 2 to 3 weeks. That is between 17 and 26 visits per year with your studio. Her rebooking is driven by one thing, her fills.
A client who adds a structured Rehab series between her extension cycles, or during a break from them, adds 3 to 5 additional appointments per year. At $125 to $185 per session, that is between $375 and $925 in additional annual revenue from a single client who was already yours.
Then factor in the clients this service brings in who were never booking at all. The DIY lasher. The lash lift regular. The one who developed a sensitivity and stopped.
Retention is not just about keeping the clients you have. It is about giving every client more reasons to stay, and more entry points to start.

Can you be allergic to eyelash extension glue? Yes, for some clients.
A portion of clients have some sensitivity to standard lash adhesives. It can show up as itching, redness, or puffiness along the lash line, usually within the first day or two after application.
Here is the part that matters for retention: a client experiencing this often rubs or touches her eyes without realizing it, which can pull out healthy lashes right along with the irritated ones. She loses more lashes than the sensitivity alone would explain, and she may not connect the two.
If you notice this pattern, this is a moment to pause the service, not push through it. If redness, swelling, or crusting persists, she should see a doctor. Once the area settles, a cosmetic cleansing and foundation approach like Lash & Brow Rehab™ is a gentler way to support her lash line while she decides her next step.
Recognizing this early is part of what separates a trusted lash professional from one who just applies product and hopes for the best.
