a year ago today, we got married. 💞 sharing one of the most beautiful chapters of my life that you guys never got to see. 🤎 today officially marks our first wedding anniversary. 07.12.25 ✨
existing in Alberta right now is an expensive hobby 🥲 standard weekly quarter-life crisis, brought to you by the grocery store shopping 👀
honestly, i used to think that being alone with my thoughts would just make me overthink everything way worse.
but turns out… it actually helped me understand myself a little better.
i don't think we even realize how much noise we're constantly consuming until everything just gets completely quiet for a second.
anyway…
my kitchen is finally clean. my brain feels a little less cluttered. we'll see how long that actually lasts. 😂🤎
serious question though, do you always have to have something playing in the background, or can you actually sit in the silence?
it’s actually kind of funny how life works ☁️
the version of me who used to complain every P.E. class somehow ended up working at a gym 😂
i still can’t believe that’s my plot twist 🥹🤎
it’s kind of funny how i used to think slowing down meant i was falling behind.
now i get excited when i have enough time to eat breakfast before work… like it’s the biggest luxury ever. 🤎
it’s weird what starts feeling expensive once you’ve lived through burnout.
just having enough energy to enjoy a random wednesday
maybe that’s what i’m trying to protect these days.
or maybe the rain just made me emotional again. ☁️
does anyone else feel like their definition of “success” changed over the years? 👀
today’s thought happened while i was making breakfast. 😂
i swear… every time i try a new recipe, my brain somehow decides it’s the perfect time to overthink life.
today’s victim: gochujang eggplant. 🌶️🍆
😂
but honestly…
i don’t think i stopped comparing because i suddenly became more confident.
i think my own life just slowly became more interesting to me.
now i’m thinking about what i’m cooking, what i’m creating, what i’m reading, how my workout went… and somewhere along the way, i stopped spending so much energy wondering what everyone else was doing.
or maybe i’m just overthinking while cooking breakfast…
both could be true. 😂
what do you think?
me and my overthinker brain lol
BUT do you feel at peace tho? 🤎
i think the internet needs more unfinished stories 🤎🥹
i willingly left a highly successful online business for a regular 9 to 5 job 👀 and honestly? it saved my life ✨
internet success completely broke my health and mental peace. a normal routine gave me back my confidence, my structure, and real face-to-face human connection.drop your honest thoughts below: are you tired of hustle culture shaming us for wanting a peaceful, normal life? let's talk 🥹🤎
