Why zinc?

Zinc oxide is a naturally occurring mineral found in the earth. In sunscreen, it sits on the skin’s surface and helps protect against both UVA and UVB rays.

It is widely used in sun care products because it is gentle on the skin and provides broad-spectrum protection.

Crafted in small batches with carefully selected ingredients.

More than just sun protection ☀️🌿

The Sol Verja Plant-based sunscreen was created not only to help protect the skin with mineral SPF 30, but also to deeply nourish and support the skin barrier.

Made with botanical oils, moisturizing ingredients, and homemade herbal infusions like Uva Ursi.

Because daily sun care can also be:
• hydration
• nourishment
• barrier support
• conscious ingredients
• simple rituals

Our skin is made of lipids, fatty acids, water, proteins, and a delicate protective barrier.

That’s one of the reasons why ingredients like shea butter and olive oil feel so nourishing to the skin — their natural fatty acids help support the skin barrier and reduce dryness while protecting moisture.

Calendula infusion has traditionally been used to calm and soothe sensitive or irritated skin, making it a beautiful addition to simple botanical skincare rituals 🌿

Sometimes, the skin recognizes simplicity.
Real ingredients. Gentle nourishment. Conscious care.

A simple nourishing balm recipe you can make at home

Ingredients

* 70% Shea butter
* 25% Olive oil or jojoba oil
* 5% Herbal infusions (optional)
* Calendula infusion
* Arnica infusion

• Essential oils

Add a few drops of lavender essential oil after whipping the balm and once the mixture is completely removed from the heat.

Instructions

Gently melt the shea butter using a double boiler.
Remove from heat and add the oils and optional herbal infusions.

Let the mixture cool slightly, then whip until soft and creamy.
Add the essential oils only at the end, once the balm is no longer hot.

Pour into a glass jar and let it fully cool before closing.

These are simply examples of ingredients that are considered more compatible with the natural structure and balance of the skin.

What are endocrine disruptors?

Some chemicals used in cosmetics and personal-care products may interfere with the body’s hormonal system.

They are often called “endocrine disruptors” because they can mimic or affect natural hormones in the body.

This is one of the reasons why many people choose simpler formulations, fewer synthetic fragrances, and more plant-based ingredients in their daily skin-care rituals 🌿

🌿The body responds to nature
🌱Nature remembers what we need
🪴The skin recognizes what is real

Choosing ingredients that the body can recognize.
Choosing slower rituals, fewer chemicals, and a deeper connection with nature and with ourselves.

What we place on our skin becomes part of our environment, our routine, and our well-being.
