I'm Leanne! Master stylist and proud owner of BLONDEIVORY Hair Boutique. Owning my own salon has been my dream since 2010, when I first started my career in the hair and beauty industry. I specialize in creating natural, lived-in looks with a love for all shades of blonde. My expertise includes custom colour applications- Balayage, Highlights, Babylights, Grey Blending, and Hair Loss or Extension transformations. I’m passionate about continuous learning and always strive to improve my skills and services to provide the best experience for my clients. Connecting with my clients is one of the most rewarding parts of my job—there’s nothing more fulfilling than helping someone feel beautiful and watching their confidence grow.I truly feel lucky to be able to do what I love every day, behind the chair. Outside of the salon, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends—whether it’s at the park with my daughters, walking the dogs, or relaxing at the lake. A good reminder for this season of life. 🤍
I’ve realized that when I make time for the things that fill my cup…whether that’s time with my girls, investing in friendships, getting outside, learning something new, or simply slowing down, I show up better for everyone around me.
Joy isn’t something we find when life gets less busy. It’s something we have to make room for.
What has been filling your heart lately?
What my clients actually want isn’t super high maintenance hair anymore.
They want hair that still feels elevated and beautiful… without being stuck in the salon every 6 weeks.
That’s why I’ve shifted so much into softer, more natural colour, blended blondes, and lived-in hair that grows out beautifully and lets you go 4–6 months between appointments.
There’s so much happening in the world right now. So many heavy things, scary things, unknowns, stress, grief, pressure… and it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by it all.
But this quote reminded me that every single person is carrying something we can’t see. And as hard as our own struggles can feel sometimes, we’d probably still choose the problems we know over the ones we don’t.
Not because our problems are easy.
But because they’re ours.
And we’ve already survived 100% of our hardest days so far.
I don’t know who needed this reminder today, but maybe peace comes from realizing we’re all just doing the best we can with what we’re carrying.
