🩷Ensure the pad is placed below where you can see the water line clearly and still see where the bottom lashes start, I personally like to place it underneath the bottom lashes with the tape on top to avoid the pads sliding around

🩷Gently place the pad and smoothen it away from the eye. If it’s bunched up it may be hard to see the lashes or potentially poke the client

🩷Tape down the bottom lashes onto the eye pad with two pieces of tape in an X shape-this is because the bottom lash line is obviously not straight across, so this secures them without digging into the eye.

🩷Make sure you can see the hairs and waterline still, but that no baby lashes are popping up! If this occurs you can always grab one more piece of tape for where a baby lash peeks up

🩷Ask the client to gently close and ensure it is comfortable for them-make adjustments if needed and assure them it’s no problem! It’s important that they’re comfortable telling you at ANY point of the appointment if they need them adjusted.

🩷Utilize the tape to “brush” the lashes as you see I did in the video for the inner corner- simply touch the lashes with the tape and gently push in a downwards motion to ensure they lay flat WITHOUT pulling them
