Being vulnerable on social is new for me, but I feel it’s important to know the girl behind the scene. We definitely feel and look like we have it all together when we are behind the chair BUT…… here is my reality. Getting dressed today felt harder than it should have.

I’m heading to visit a salon, and standing in front of the mirror, nothing felt quite like me. The clothes I reached for didn’t sit the way I remembered, and the body looking back at me didn’t feel like the one I’m used to seeing.

There are moments in this season of life when confidence doesn’t come naturally.

So today, I put on my makeup. I got dressed anyway. I smiled, even though I didn’t completely feel like it, and I reminded myself that showing up still counts.

Vintage Vixen is about more than hair.

It’s about women finding themselves again through changing bodies, changing seasons, new beginnings, and all the messy parts in between.

I may not feel completely like myself yet, but I’m still becoming her.
