We get asked this in the salon all the time! Clients often notice: "I put lotion on my front, but NOT on my back... and both sides end up the exact same color. Why?"
Here’s the secret: your back actually has a huge natural head start!

1️⃣ Direct Bed Heat & Microcirculation: Lying directly on the bed's acrylic traps heat against your back. That warmth boosts blood flow, which accelerates melanin production and color development!

2️⃣ Proximity & Pressure: Lying down flattens your back against the acrylic, bringing your skin slightly closer to the lamps and allowing UV rays to absorb evenly.
