My favourite reel came across my feed months ago with an acupuncturist referencing her day like having mini coffee dates all day long … yes… that felt warm, cozy, and correct to how I feel most days. I’ve often claimed I don’t need social time after work because it is my social time… my therapist long ago told me that was unhealthy, I’ve always been ok with it.
Today a newer client asked a question I’ve had many times over the years …
‘How did you end up in this line of work?’ ( it touches on all of my deepest wounds.)
Today felt different, I went to roll off my tongue the script that has become familiar but I paused at my normal start point and said… actually I guess I should go back to the real beginning… I dipped into a spot in my heart that I knew could evoke more than I would prefer, and I spoke from that place instead, trusting whatever crackle in my tone that might surface.
It wasn’t that I shared anything I haven’t before, rather for the first time I didn’t feel a restriction in my heart to divert the conversation into a rehearsed and protected storyline that doesn’t get too vulnerable or real or personal at any point.
It made me think… how many times in our work day or out in our life we pause, armour up and then tell the corner rounded version with a smile that’s easier to hold… but then again…
What has been the cost of the corner rounded version? Who has mistaken us, misunderstood us, or missed an opportunity to relate to us or open up to us about their own raw edged story they’ve gathered on this journey?
Sometimes the long version is someone’s short cut back home to themselves.
This is the reason for many of the changes in Solluna the last year, to create space and time to drop into more of these places in our practices, and in your sessions.
Thanks for all the coffee dates; quiet, chatty, happy, sad, mad, somewhere in-between — there’s a season for all of them and we likely remember and appreciate all the parts and versions and seasons you’ve let us into.

Well, well, well… look who’s back. 🥂
What better way to grace Instagram with our presence after a year than with a big, warm Happy 30th to the wine and ci******es of Solluna — metaphorically of course 😜 —
From day one you’ve been a sport — lightening this space, the treatment room, and definitely our staff outings with a little less serious healing and a little more fun and play, woven right into our warm, cozy, homey vibe.
The last year has been a lot of changes for Solluna and for each person facilitating in this space. The pause from this platform has been pretty intentional. Sometimes an authentic pause is what allows us space to grow and change — without the need to perform or explain. When we fill our own cups, focus on our own craft, our own families, our own health, and create more space in our lives and our schedules, we get to show up in our practice much more alive, more present, and full of more potential to support whatever healing or magic wants to come through in this cozy, intentionally set vibe.
Leah — it’s been such a gift getting to know you better and see more of you, your full self, and your evolving practice this last year. I’m so grateful to have such a trusting, reliable, consistent, certain, and gifted practitioner and friend in this space. I’m so glad you persisted yourself in here.
And to everyone at Solluna — thanks for being so patient, loving, and grounded this last year. This has been the best one yet. 🌿
Happy 30th, Leah. We love you.

Energy isn’t just something we do — it’s something we are. ✨🤍
This month’s energy circle with Lindsey is a gentle return to that truth. A space to reconnect with your own energy, remember your intuition, and explore how energy lives in every interaction, every intention, every touch.
We’ll begin with a simple (but powerful) guided practice, reflect on the ripple effects of our presence, and share space with others walking the path of energy work — no certification required, just a willingness to show up as you are.
📅 Last Friday of each month
📍Solluna Collective
Facilitated by
A small, supportive space for energy practitioners — new, returning, or curious — to ground, share, and grow in community.
Call us or book online to join this month’s circle. 💫
