Day 4 Intensive Medical Massage.
The morning session focused on the TMJ protocol, including clinical assessment, anatomy, biomechanics, and treatment techniques for the TMJ, cervical spine, and associated musculature.

In the afternoon, students treated two live clinical cases:

* Case 1: Client presented with rotator cuff dysfunction and shoulder pain. Students performed a functional assessment, identified movement restrictions and muscle imbalances, then applied treatment techniques to improve shoulder mobility and function.
* Case 2: Client presented with chronic neck pain and headaches. Students assessed cervical mobility, muscle tone, and contributing dysfunctions before performing a treatment focused on reducing pain, improving cervical movement, and restoring normal function.

All treatments emphasized clinical reasoning, anatomy, kinesiology, proper assessment, and selecting techniques based on the client’s presentation

Day 3 – Clinical Lymphatic Drainage

Today we treated two live clinical cases demonstrating different lymphatic conditions.

Case 1: Client following breast cancer surgery with left axillary lymph node removal, presenting with impaired lymphatic drainage, tissue fibrosis, and restricted shoulder mobility. Students learned safe assessment, post-surgical precautions, central clearing, and manual lymphatic drainage techniques to direct lymph toward healthy drainage pathways.

Case 2: Client presenting with generalized edema and inflammation. Students learned clinical assessment, treatment sequencing, and manual lymphatic drainage techniques to support lymphatic flow and help reduce tissue congestion.

Students then practiced assessment and treatment progression on each other, focusing on clinical reasoning, safety, and proper technique.

Day 2 , Intensive Medical Massage, focused on clinical muscle testing, muscle activation, therapist self-care, and treatment of specific movement dysfunctions. Students learned how to identify facilitated and inhibited muscles using anatomy, kinesiology, and movement assessment.

Today, students observed five live clinical cases that my teacher treated from assessment through reassessment:

1. Restricted shoulder external rotation, Limited shoulder external rotation affecting overhead activities, reaching, and shoulder function.
2. Anterior pelvic tilt, Excessive anterior pelvic tilt associated with increased lumbar lordosis, altered lumbopelvic mechanics, and reduced hip extension.
3. Posterior pelvic tilt, Posterior pelvic positioning associated with decreased lumbar lordosis, reduced hip mobility, and altered movement mechanics.
4. Forward head posture with functional scoliosis, Forward head posture with a functional spinal asymmetry contributing to altered loading throughout the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine.
5. Excessive scapular upward rotation, Altered scapular positioning and movement contributing to limited shoulder retraction and reduced scapulothoracic control.

Each case included movement assessment, muscle testing, soft tissue treatment, muscle activation, and functional reassessment. Treatment was performed in seated, side-lying, prone, and supine positions based on each client’s presentation. The day concluded with students assessing and treating each other while applying the clinical concepts and techniques learned in class.

Day 1 of our 5-Day Intensive Thai Medical Massage.

Today, we brought in 4 different clinical cases for my teacher to treat live, allowing all students to observe the assessment, clinical reasoning, and treatment process from start to finish.

* Lumbar disc herniation. Client unable to turn over on the treatment table due to severe pain.
* Bilateral mastectomy following breast cancer with extensive scar tissue, restricted shoulder mobility, and rotator cuff dysfunction.
* Teenager with bilateral collapsed arches and excessive pronation contributing to low back and right shoulder pain.
* Client with a C3-C7 cervical fusion, history of a left foot fracture, 2 C-sections, chronic neck pain, and persistent headaches.

After the live demonstrations, students assessed one another and applied the techniques we learned throughout today’s class.

Treatment Results with Nuad Benjapakhi Thai Solution Massage 4+1 System
Treating Knee Degeneration
A client in her fifties came in with foot pain due to work that requires a lot of standing and wearing high heels. Another condition she wanted treated today was her knees. The client explained that both knees have problems with degenerated meniscus of the knee. It's especially difficult when walking up or down stairs. This has been a chronic issue for a very long time. In the future, if she can't bear the pain anymore, she'll probably see a doctor and wait for surgery.
We used the Nuad Benjapakhi Thai Solution Massage technique, working on the full body, which incorporates theories from Chinese medicine, Tuina, Acupressure, Shiatsu, and Traditional Thai Energy lines. We agreed with the client that we would treat one knee at a time. For today, we would work on the knee with the more severe problem, which the client agreed to.
We started with the legs. While massaging the legs, we also treated leg cramps and plantar fasciitis, which the client hadn't mentioned but we discovered during our assessment and treated preventatively.
The Nuad Benjapakhi Thai Solution Massage technique involves opening sen lines (energy pathways), closing sen lines, pressing sen lines, acupressure points, and bone balancing (which is not chiropractic adjustment). After we finished the complete treatment and had the client walk out of the massage room and down the stairs, the client said that the treated knee no longer hurt and felt much lighter and more comfortable. She asked to have this type of massage again next time. This client is already a regular. We planned a full-body treatment schedule initially once a week for 1 month, then we'll meet every two weeks.

That's all for this story!

Treatment Results with Thai Solution Massage 4+1 System
From the client consultation, the symptoms were:
1. Very tight neck, shoulders, and frequent headaches. Works sitting at a computer and uses phone extensively, with frequent rotating day/night shifts.
2. Lower back pain radiating down the leg. MRI scan shows issues at L5-S1.
Today we used Teacher P'Thep's Thai Solution Massage 4+1 technique, all 4 positions, 90 minutes: releasing energy pathways (Qi) along Traditional Thai Energy lines and Meridian Energy lines, breaking up adhesions, and acupressure techniques.
Starting with supine position - during this process we also applied acupressure points to prevent leg cramps and plantar fasciitis that may occur in the future.
Then moved to side-lying position to massage and release energy pathways in the back.
Position 3 was prone to focus on the back again, including acupressure points to address lower back and hip issues, as well as releasing energy pathways in the back of the legs (sitting points and hamstrings).
Then we returned to press the ten abdominal acupressure points.
Finally, position 4 for neck and shoulders in seated position, applying acupressure techniques and releasing all related energy pathways in the shoulders and neck.
Concluded with hamstring stretching. Once the muscles, ligaments, tendons, and nerves are cleared, the skeletal system will align itself naturally.
This completed today's session.
When asked after the massage and walking out of the treatment room, the client reported no more neck and shoulder pain, and the lower back pain was gone.

After learning Nuad (Thai Solution Massage) for over a year, the perfect opportunity arrived this past April 2026. I was extremely delighted to receive the opportunity to train in Nuad Benja Phakhi in the Netherlands with Master Suthep Meewattana, or , the founder and creator of this wonderful massage technique. He developed it by combining knowledge from Chinese Acupuncture and Tuina, Japanese Shiatsu, and most importantly, the core of Thai massage - the Ten Principal Energy Lines (Sen Sib). Teacher P'Thep spent over 25 years refining all of this into Nuad Benja Phakhi. The training was intensive at every step and there's no room for error, because it involves the health of clients and the massage therapist themselves. The teacher also instilled strong ethics and morality for practitioners of this technique.
How is Nuad Benja Phakhi's 4+1 System different from regular massage? With one Benja Phakhi massage session, clients benefit across multiple systems:
system
system
system with 12 meridian lines
and system 4+1: The with virtue, possessing the Four Bases of Success (Iddhipada), with -kindness (Metta) to help those who are ill with spiritual intention - this is a noble massage technique.
Regular massage typically focuses on muscles, but Benja Phakhi massage "avoids" the muscles.
The results from Benja Phakhi massage are truly remarkable. I must thank myself and all four Benja Phakhi teachers: Teacher P'Thep, Teacher P'Poo, Teacher P'Gee, and Teacher P'Gang, who gave me the opportunity to use this technique to help people who are suffering. I sacrificed a lot of time and money to learn this technique properly. Flying from Canada to Europe costs a significant amount, and the work time and income I had to give up was substantial. But I don't regret it at all because it's incredibly worthwhile for self-development. I must say that the people who benefit most from this technique are not myself, because I can't massage myself completely - maybe just some parts.
"But the people who get the full benefit are the clients who book massage appointments."
If you want results, this massage will serve you very well. Availability is very limited each day.
At this moment, my 2026 schedule is extremely full, and the next available slots will be in late July 2026.
I am accepting bookings for this year only until the end of November 2026.
For next year 2027, I am not yet accepting client bookings because I have family obligations in Thailand that will take several months to handle. I don't know when it will be completed. After that, I will announce when I'll be accepting clients again. Roughly, I should return to work around April 2027.
