Today, we join communities across Canada in recognizing Orange Shirt Day and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

We remember the children who never came home, honour Survivors and their families, and recognize the lasting impact of the residential school system.
As part of our continued commitment to supporting our community, Avalon is making a donation to Gignoo Transition House, an Indigenous women’s support centre here in Fredericton providing safety, support and culturally appropriate services to Indigenous women and children across New Brunswick.
