If you’ve noticed things have been a little quieter around here over the past couple of weeks, here’s why! 🤍

I’ve been away celebrating some pretty special milestones. First, one of my classmate-turned-best-friends graduated from high school, and we surprised her by showing up at her graduation! She had absolutely no idea we were coming, and getting to celebrate such a huge milestone with her made the trip so worth it.

I was also honoured to celebrate the wedding of a wonderful couple with my boyfriend’s family at Sun Peaks Resort. It was my first time visiting, and it was such a beautiful place to experience. After the wedding, we spent a week camping at François Lake for Canada Day, which also happened to be our anniversary. It was my first time there too, and I already can’t wait to go back. 🇨🇦🤍

These past two weeks were filled with so many unforgettable memories, amazing people, and a few firsts I’ll always remember. As grateful as I am for the time away, I’m so excited to be back behind the chair, catching up with all of my wonderful clients, and getting back into my routine. I can’t wait to see you all! ✨

I got to do a tinsel install today for a beautiful girl who just so happens to be graduating high school next week. The blue against blonde is absolutely stunninggg 🤩

I also had the privilege of doing my boyfriends little sisters hair for her grade 8 farewell this evening!! HUUUGE thank you to Miss Lilli's Hairstyling for doing some beautiful curls while I installed the gold tinsel so we could get her out on time.

I don’t even know where to start with this one. This was my third highlight EVER and I am beyond proud of how this transformation turned out!

The blend, the lift, the dimension… everything came together exactly how we envisioned. The fact that this colour melted so beautifully WITHOUT needing a root tap made me SO proud — the natural blend was already there ✨

I’m usually my own biggest critic, and this service challenged me to trust my education, my technique, and most importantly myself. I had to quiet those little perfectionist thoughts and just let myself create… and I’m so happy I did.

Yesterday evening, Lily Gray was invited to attend a Domestic Violence Awareness event and had conversations that reminded me why this industry matters beyond hair.

As beauty professionals we often become someone’s safe place, a moment of calm, connection, and care.

One thing I’m taking with me: you never know what someone is carrying when they sit in your chair.

I had the opportunity to have this beautiful girl AND her super awesome furry friend, Loki, in my chair this week. We got a nice fresh wash, a trim to take away some of the damage as it had been a while since her last cut, and she got to take home some awesome new products!! 🫧👱‍♀️
