I’ve always been fascinated by the details.

The details in a haircut.
The details in a photograph.
The details most people never stop long enough to notice.

Maybe that’s why I’ve always been drawn to both.

Hair taught me that mastery lives in the small things. The subtle adjustments, the patience, the thousands of tiny decisions that nobody sees but somehow change everything.

Photography, on the other hand, taught me to slow down. To appreciate a moment before it disappears. To understand that sometimes beauty isn’t created — it’s simply noticed.

The older I get, the more I realize that both are really about the same thing:

Learning how to see.

Not just looking, but truly seeing.

Seeing people.
Seeing character.
Seeing stories.
Seeing the beauty that exists in the ordinary.

Every haircut carries a piece of someone’s story.
Every photograph preserves a piece of a moment that will never exist again.

And maybe that’s why both continue to inspire me so deeply.
