We're hiring a Retail Associate at Sage & Sweetgrass!

We're looking for a warm, grounded person to join our small team at our Bishop's Landing boutique on the Halifax waterfront.

This isn't a fast-paced, high-pressure retail gig. It's a slower kind of selling built on real conversation, genuine product knowledge and helping our customers feel listened to.

If you've spent some time building trust with clients and you're craving a role where that same warmth and skill can shine in a new way, we'd love to meet you.

What you'll be doing:

🪻Greeting customers and helping them find what they actually need, not just what's trending
🪻Learning our small-batch, botanical formulas well enough to talk about them like a trusted friend would
🪻Handling checkout, restocking and keeping our boutique looking its best
🪻Being a steady, familiar face for our regulars and a warm welcome for first-time visitors

What we're looking for:

🌿 A genuine interest in natural skincare, aromatherapy and wellness (previous experience in beauty, spa, hospitality or client-facing retail is a big plus)
🌿 Someone comfortable with cash handling, POS systems and day-to-day retail flow
🌿 A calm, patient communication style. Our customers often want to talk, ask questions and take their time
🌿 Reliability. We need someone who shows up consistently and treats this like a real commitment, not a placeholder

📅 Schedule:

Weekend availability required, plus 1 to 2 weekdays. This is steady, ongoing part-time work, not seasonal.
