Transcending mind, body, and soul, through the most powerful healling energy....TOUCH I am committed to treating the person as a whole: the body, mind and soul.
I really like to see the change in a person once the accumulated tension or pain they came in with has lessened or even disappeared because of my treatment. The satisfaction I experience in helping someone achieve relief like that is very rewarding. It makes me feel connected to my patients and I want to help them again and again. I have helped many patients understand the benefits of regular, scheduled treatments to their overall health. By relieving the physical body of accumulated tension from stress or pain the mind and soul follow, enhancing individual wellbeing. She believes that therapeutic touch through massage is something the body needs. By increasing blood flow, lymphatic tissue drainage and relieving impingement, massage promotes a healthy body. I continue to learn and share information about healing through natural therapies which assist the body in its own ability to heal, and is the optimum form of treatment.

For many women, a Caesarean birth was not part of the plan. Circumstances change, decisions are made, and suddenly the birth you imagined looks very different.
Alongside the joy and gratitude of welcoming your baby, there may also be disappointment, guilt, sadness or even the feeling that somehow your body let you down.
And then life carries on.
There is a newborn to care for, perhaps older children at home, a household to manage, and very little time to consider what your own body has just experienced.
A C-section is major abdominal surgery, and recovery does not always end when the incision heals.
Tightness, tenderness, altered sensation and restricted tissue mobility can sometimes linger for months or even years.
As a Registered Massage Therapist, I believe abdominal massage and scar therapy deserve more conversation. Once healing is complete, gentle treatment may help improve tissue mobility and ease some of that lingering discomfort.
Our bodies tell stories. Pregnancy, childbirth and surgery all leave their marks, both physically and sometimes emotionally.
I recognize that abdominal massage may feel unfamiliar or a little daunting. If you are curious but uncertain, I warmly invite you to reach out for a conversation first.
No pressure to book, simply an opportunity to ask questions, understand what treatment involves and decide whether it feels right for you.
You have spent so much time caring for everyone else. There is room to care for yourself, too.
Whether your Caesarean birth was recent or many years ago, your recovery still matters.

Mother Nature certainly had a few surprises up her sleeve this Thanksgiving weekend! ππ
From the brilliant colours of autumn to the unexpected sight of lilacs still blooming in October, there was so much beauty to appreciate along the trails.
I hope you were able to enjoy a little time outdoors, soak up some sunshine, and make the most of the extra day this holiday weekend offered.
As we settle back into our routines, it is worth remembering that Thanksgiving is our last long weekend until Christmas. That is quite a stretch ahead of us!
A gentle reminder to make room for yourself along the way. A little rest, some movement, time outdoors, or an hour on the massage table can make a meaningful difference in how we feel as the weeks roll by.
There is some availability in the Studio this week for anyone looking to carve out a little time for themselves.
Wishing you a beautiful start to your week! π

Hot stone season has officially returned to the Studio! ππ§‘
As the temperatures begin to drop and the days grow cooler, there is something especially comforting about the warmth of hot stones.
The combination of soothing heat and therapeutic massage is a lovely way to ease muscle tension, encourage relaxation and settle into the slower rhythm of autumn.
The table warmer is making its seasonal return too.
A little extra warmth is waiting for you in the Studio.

How is October already knocking at the door? π
A friendly reminder as we head into the final few months of 2026: if you have massage therapy benefits you would like to use before year end, now is a great time to think ahead.
November and December appointments tend to fill quickly, especially those coveted evening spots. Booking ahead means you can choose appointments that actually work with your schedule and avoid the end of year scramble.
Your future December self will thank you. π
Online booking is always available at:

Autumn Equinox π
Tonight, light and darkness meet in balance.
The season turns quietly. The days begin to shorten, the air shifts, and nature starts painting the landscape in a different palette.
A reminder that change does not always arrive with a great announcement. Sometimes it simply unfolds.
Welcome, autumn.

Wellβ¦ I suppose it was inevitable. π₯΄π
On the last official day of summer, the first cool morning has arrived and the table warmer is officially back on in the Studio.
I am not quite ready to say goodbye to summer yet, but I have to admitβ¦ a warm massage table on a cool day is pretty lovely. π
Happy last day of summer!

Settling back into September. π
With the first couple of weeks of September behind us, routines are starting to feel a little more established and the Studio is settling back into its usual rhythm too.
This is often the time of year when schedules fill up again and we remember some of the things that may have slipped a little over the summer, including taking care of ourselves.
If massage has been sitting somewhere on your September to do list, I do have some appointment availability in the Studio this week.
Whether you are returning to regular treatment, dealing with something that has been nagging at you, or simply feeling the effects of getting back into a busier routine, there is space for you.
Online booking is available through my website.
Have a beautiful Sunday. π«Ά
