There was a time when beauty was about keeping up with trends. What I see in my studio today is different: women who want to look polished — but still like themselves.

I’m May — a Master PMU Artist with 18 years in the beauty industry and almost a decade specializing in Permanent Makeup. Through my Hamilton studio, Carefree Beauty by May, I’ve built my work around one belief—Permanent makeup should enhance you, not become the first thing people notice about you.

My clients range from first-time guests to women in their 80s, and they remind me every day that the desire to feel confident and cared for doesn’t have an expiration date.

The goal was never to look done. It’s to look like yourself — a little more defined, a little more polished, a little less time in front of the mirror. Because when beauty is truly personalized, it doesn’t look like a trend—It simply looks like you. 🤍

This October, I’m stepping outside the studio and taking Carefree Beauty By May to the Hamilton Fall Home & Lifestyle Show at Lime Ridge Mall, October 9–11!

This is a big first for me, and I’m so excited to introduce my work to more women in our community — especially those who may have been curious about permanent makeup but aren’t quite sure where to start.

And because most of YOU already know my work, I would absolutely love for you to come by and see me!

Hi 👋 I’m May To, the artist and owner behind Carefree Beauty by May, a permanent makeup studio dedicated to creating natural, personalized beauty.

With 18 years of experience in the beauty industry and 9 years specialized in Permanent Makeup, I’ve built my business around the belief that permanent makeup should enhance your features—not change who you are. Every appointment begins with a conversation, because understanding you, your lifestyle, your preferences and your beauty goals is just as important as the technique itself.

My signature service is Nano Brows, a refined, natural-looking brow enhancement designed to complement each client’s unique features. I carefully consider your natural brow pattern, facial structure, skin and desired result to create brows that look soft, balanced and beautifully suited to you.

I work with clients who are new to permanent makeup, as well as those seeking corrections after an experience that didn’t meet their expectations. In every appointment, I prioritize patience, honesty and care, taking the time to create a result that feels natural and unique.

At Carefree Beauty by May, my goal is never for your brows to look obvious or overdone. I want you to look refreshed, confident and like the best, most natural version of yourself.

Every face is different, and every client has her own story. My role is to listen, understand and create something that feels like it was made just for you because it is.
