Yesterday, a friend told me a story that got me thinking seriously! 😂
Her colleague, an African lady born in America, fell in love with an African man. They started dating, not knowing they were related. The truth came out when her late father’s younger brother visited and met the couple for the first time. After asking the young man where he came from and who his parents were, they discovered that the two lovebirds were actually second cousins! 😳
Now, this story has put me in serious thinking mode ooo! 😂
My husband has cousins living in different parts of the country, and some of them have children who are already grown. On my own side, I have first and second cousins I haven’t seen in 25–30 years. Many of us married outside our tribes, and our children are growing up in different places, barely knowing one another.
My son is already in the university, and I keep telling him, Biko, if you have a girlfriend, let your mother know early ooo! Don't wait until we hear stories that will make our hearts jump out!😂😂. God forbid oooo
Honestly, these children are not even talking! Should I start encouraging them to go for Oyibo? At least, that one will reduce the family tree investigation! 🤣🤣🤣
But on a serious note, with families scattered everywhere and children growing up without knowing their extended relatives, this is something worth thinking about.
Parents, how do we handle this matter? Because I don’t want to hear, Mummy, meet my girlfriend, only for us to discover that we share the same grandfather! Haa! God forbid oooo , I reject it in Jesus name . Amen !

I don’t know how many of you saw the video of the pilot who allegedly attacked the other pilot while the plane was carrying so many innocent passengers. 😢

What could have ended in tragedy, God raised helpers in that plane, and the passengers were eventually brought to safety.

This reminded me that sometimes, when we think there is no way out, God will send help from somewhere we never expected. 🙏🏽

As we enter this new month, may God send you help in every area of your life. May He protect you, your family and everything that concerns you. May you receive good news, peace, favour and unexpected blessings.

A FATHER DISCOVERS THAT HIS DAUGHTER HAS BEEN DATING HER OWN BROTHER FOR A YEAR! WHO SHOULD TAKE THE BLAME? 😳💔

I came across a story on social media that left me completely speechless.
A man said he and his ex-girlfriend went their separate ways 24 years ago, and life moved on for both of them.
Fast-forward to today. His daughter, who had been dating a young man of about 23 for a year, decided to bring her boyfriend home to meet her father.
During lunch, the man noticed something strange. The young man looked so much like him, and even his mannerisms reminded him of himself. Something just wasn't adding up.

He began asking questions about the young man's family and eventually asked for a picture of his mother.
My people, guess what? When the young man showed him their family pictures, he saw his ex-girlfriend staring back at him!
Immediately, he contacted his ex and asked her, “Do you have a son for me?”
She questioned why he was coming back into her life after all these years. But he asked again, insisting that he needed an answer.
When he explained that a young man who looked exactly like him was dating his daughter, everything changed.
The woman reportedly started screaming, “No! No! This cannot be happening! Please, stop them!”
The man asked her again, “Is he my son?”
This time, she confessed, “Yes! Yes! Please, stop them!”
Just imagine discovering that your daughter has been dating her own biological brother for an entire year, and neither of them knows the truth. 💔

Now, here is the big question: WHO SHOULD BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS SITUATION?
Is it the mother, who allegedly kept the truth about her son's paternity hidden for all these years, or the father, who walked away from the relationship 24 years ago?
Or should we consider that both parents may have played a part in creating a situation neither of their children deserved?

My people, let's talk. Who do you think should take the blame, the father or the mother?

Yesterday I woke up with a song .. In the dream, I was singing:
“I’ve got joy in chaos,
I’ve got peace that makes no sense,
I won’t be going under.”
I woke up with that song still in my head and mouth . I got up, said my prayers, and went to the red app to play the song as a guest.
I was just settling in to enjoy it when a commercial interrupted the song. And this wasn’t even the kind of advert I expected to see.
The commercial and it a cartoon for children . It was about a young boy having feelings for his cousin, and an adult was encouraging him to tell her about his feelings. 😳.I couldn’t listen to it I turned it off
I just sat there like… Wait, what did I just watch? 😩
Of all the things to advertise, this is what had to interrupt the beautiful worship song that came to me in my sleep? 😂

And the annoying part is that you couldn’t skip it or exit. You just had to sit there and watch the whole thing.
I understand that different people and families may have different conversations around relationships, but seeing a storyline that presents romantic feelings between cousins this way really caught me off guard.
I was looking for peace that makes no sense, but the commercial came and gave me confusion that makes no sense.😭

Many questions popped up, did this just happen? If this were to be a child listening or watching a video ,and this pops up ,she/he listened or watched it , what do you think will go through that childs mind ? There is no innocent shows or nusic again ooo . Watch your kids closely to see what they are pushing out to them oo ,the enemy is out to detroy .
All I ever wanted was to listen to my song in peace oooo.
