Selling stuff that contributes to cancer to raise money for cancer research.
How ironic.
How sad.
Doing my best to stay optimistic and hope that one day the public will wake up and see the bulsh*t.

Cancer is not the enemy. Fear is.
After three incredible days at the Beljanski Integrative Cancer Conference, I am returning home inspired, energized, and excited to integrate what I've learned into my Cancer Survivor to Thriver Roadmap for my clients.
The conference brought together physicians, researchers, naturopathic doctors, nutritionists, and cancer thrivers to discuss the latest advances in integrative oncology.
Topics ranged from immune therapies, nutrition, metabolic health, photodynamic therapy, and cancer recurrence prevention to hormones, oral health, environmental toxins, emotional healing, regenerative medicine, and the profound connection between mindset and recovery.
What struck me most was that despite the diversity of topics, a common message emerged:
Cancer is not simply a disease of a single organ or a collection of abnormal cells. It is a symptom of deeper systemic dysfunction.
This is why a one-size-fits-all approach to cancer care simply doesn't work.
Every individual has a unique history, genetics, toxic burden, microbiome, emotional landscape, lifestyle, and healing capacity. Therefore, every healing protocol should be individually designed to address the whole person—not just the diagnosis.
This is the whole mark of integrative cancer therapy.
While surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation can be important and lifesaving interventions, they are often only one part of the healing journey.
True healing requires us to address the entire terrain:
✨ Nutrition and metabolic health
✨ Immune function
✨ Detoxification pathways
✨ Gut health and the microbiome
✨ Hormonal balance
✨ Sleep and circadian rhythms
✨ Emotional and spiritual well-being
✨ Stress, trauma, and mindset
Another powerful takeaway was the emphasis on preventing recurrence.
NED (No Evidence of Disease) does not mean you're done. It means you're entering the next stage of healing.
This is the time to rebuild, restore, strengthen, and create an internal environment that supports long-term health and resilience. The goal is not simply to eliminate disease. The goal is to create health.
This is what we do in my Survivor To Thriver Roadmap.
The most important message of all: Cancer is not the enemy. Fear is.
Fear keeps us trapped in survival mode. Fear will suppress healing, disrupt sleep, increase stress hormones, and interfere with the body's natural ability to recover and thrive.
I am grateful for the opportunity to learn from some of the brightest minds in integrative cancer care and look forward to bringing these insights into my work so I can better support my clients on their healing journeys—from surviving to truly thriving.

San Diego is home to Beljanski Integrative Cancer Conference this year. Beautiful city!
I was thrilled to find raw milk from A2 cows at this purveyor of health, Sprouts Farmers Market.🥛
As oncology nutritionist, I'm all for having access to traditional foods that have nourished humans for generations.
Raw milk from A2 cows contains A2 beta-casein protein, naturally occurring enzymes, beneficial bacteria, healthy fats, and highly bioavailable vitamins and minerals.
Many people also tolerate A2 milk better than A1 milk from commercially farmed cows.
None pasteurized raw milk has:
✔️ Highly absorbable calcium and minerals
✔️ Natural enzymes that aid digestion
✔️ Beneficial probiotics and immune-supporting compounds
✔️ Vitamins A, D, K2, and B vitamins
✔️ Healthy fats that support hormone and cellular health
Pasteurizing/sterilizing milk destroys most of its nutritional content.
Of course, raw milk isn't for everyone. Sourcing from farms that follow sustainable practices, raise animals in natural and ethical environment is essential.
Food quality matters. The closer our food is to its natural state, the more we can benefit from the benefits nature provides.
Have you ever tried raw milk or A2 dairy? I'd love to hear about your experience.

BFF (Best Foods Forever) 👯♂️are a big part of my Survivor To Thriver Roadmap, program for cancer survivors to transform into thrivers. 💪
Kimchi is always on my BFF list. This study confirms its potent immune supporting and anti cancerous properties. 💚
In this study, kimchi enhanced immune system’s ability to recognize threats and mount an appropriate response. 💪. This is important because we want our immune system to detect things like cancer cells and pathogens, but without overacting with excessive systemic inflammation. 🔥 Kimchi does just that: effective immune response, but not too much!
Fermented foods nourish our gut microbiome. Most of our immune system is in the gut.
What we eat influences how we heal and function. 🌱
If spicy kimchi isn’t your thing, other fermented foods include sauerkraut, kefir, unsweetened yogurt, miso, and traditionally fermented pickles.
Question for you: Do you include fermented foods in your routine? What’s your favourite BFF?👇

Single-cell RNA sequencing reveals that kimchi dietary intervention modulates human antigen-presenting and CD4⁺ T cells - npj Science of Food Kimchi, a traditional Korean fermented food, is recognized for its metabolic benefits; however, its effects on human immune function remain poorly defined. In this study, we performed single-cell RNA-seq on peripheral blood mononuclear cells from 13 overweight adults using a paired pre/post design i...

🦷 Is your mouthwash secretly affecting your blood pressure?
We’ve been taught that killing bacteria equals better oral health — research proves that to be wrong!
Your mouth contains beneficial bacteria that help produce nitric oxide, a molecule essential for relaxing blood vessels and maintaining healthy blood pressure.
Many antiseptic mouthwashes act like antibiotics. They don’t just kill “bad” bacteria — they also wipe out helpful microbes, disrupting the oral microbiome and reducing nitric oxide production.
The result? Regular use of antiseptic mouthwash contributes to higher blood pressure and sets the stage for chronic disease such as heart disease, cancer, and much more!
✅ Healthy alternatives:
• Salt water rinses
• Oil pulling with coconut oil
• Alcohol-free, microbiome-friendly rinses
• Eating nitrate-rich vegetables (beets, leafy greens)
Oral health isn’t about sterilizing — it’s about balance.
Support your microbiome, and you support your whole body. 🌿

🌿Fasting reduces side effects and increases efficacy of conventional cancer therapy: chemotherapy, radiation, surgery.🌿
Metabolic shifts during fasting — including lower glucose and insulin levels and activation of cellular repair pathways — makes cancer cells more vulnerable and support treatment effectiveness while protecting normal cells through mechanisms like autophagy and stress resistance pathways.
Here’s what science demonstrates:
🔥 Benefits
• Fasting reduces insulin and growth-factor signals that support cancer cells.
• Fasting lowers markers of DNA damage and reduces neutropenia and neuropathy
• Fasting enhances immune responses and therapeutic sensitivity to chemotherapy or radiation
💡 Important Note
Fasting during cancer treatment should not be done alone. Safety varies by cancer type, treatment plan, nutrition status, and individual medical history.

Effect of fasting on cancer: A narrative review of scientific evidence - PubMed Emerging evidence suggests that fasting could play a key role in cancer treatment by fostering conditions that limit cancer cells' adaptability, survival, and growth. Fasting could increase the effectiveness of cancer treatments and limit adverse events. Yet, we lack an integrated mechanistic model....
