August 8, 2026 we're proud to celebrate 30 years of The Spa Day Retreat.

While our spa has been welcoming guests for three decades, the story of this beautiful property reaches back even further. Built in 1824, it has been part of our community for more than 200 years, witnessing generations of history before becoming the place so many of you know and love today.

Over the past 30 years, we've had the privilege of helping celebrate birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, bridal parties, mother-daughter days, quiet moments of self-care, and so many other special occasions. Being part of those moments has been one of our greatest honours.

To every guest who has walked through our doors, every team member who has shared their passion, and everyone who has supported us along the way—thank you. Your kindness, loyalty, and support have shaped The Spa Day Retreat into what it is today.

Burnout…I’m sure I’m not the only one out there hitting the point of complete burnout. How are others coping or handling it? Tips? Tricks? Support groups? I think this is an important topic that has major life impacts on so many people that we don’t talk about enough!

My response …As Woman we need to find ways to replenish ourselves, as the Owner of The Spa Day Retreat, I am going to play my part and offer monthly raffles to honour a woman or 2 to be my personal guest for either Japanese head spa/ Facial/ or Holy Grail, there is nothing like Human touch that can heal, If you would like to be considered or refer/ tag someone, drop us a note on our fb page, - as this is a form of stigma for some, also feel free to send msg to me privately - keeping this topic alive, it’s being heard.
