If your skin looks less fresh than it once did, the answer is not always stronger products or more exfoliation.

Start with the fundamentals:

— support hydration and the skin barrier
— exfoliate appropriately
— use targeted serums consistently
— wear broad-spectrum sunscreen daily

The goal is not to use everything. It is to choose what your skin needs and follow the plan long enough to see improvement.

Hydrafacial has arrived at Event Skincare.

The Hydrafacial system deeply cleanses, gently resurfaces, extracts congestion and delivers targeted hydration—all within one treatment.

At Event Skincare, it is personalized beyond the device with the hands-on care my facials are known for. Depending on the Hydrafacial selected, your treatment may also include massage, masking, LED therapy and lymphatic drainage.

The result is skin that feels thoroughly cleansed, hydrated and visibly refreshed.

Signature, Deluxe and Platinum Hydrafacials are now available. Book through the link in my bio.

Retinol doesn’t thin your skin in the way many people fear.

It helps normalize cell turnover, which can make the outer buildup of dull surface cells more compact. Beneath the surface, consistent use can support collagen production and improve the appearance of fine lines, uneven tone and texture over time.

The key is not using the strongest formula as often as possible. It is choosing an appropriate retinoid, introducing it gradually and supporting your skin barrier along the way.

Start slowly, apply it to dry skin and wear sunscreen every morning. Some initial dryness can occur, but persistent redness, burning or peeling is a sign that your routine needs to be adjusted.

Ekseption Super Retinol Fluid is one of the formulas I carry, but retinol is not one-size-fits-all. The right product and frequency depend on your skin, current routine and treatment goals.

Save this guide for when you begin—or restart—your retinol. If you’re unsure which formula is right for you, ask me at your next appointment.

Collagen maintenance isn’t about trying to stop aging—or claiming that one treatment can replace exactly what the skin loses each year.

It’s about paying attention to how the skin is changing and introducing an appropriate remodeling stimulus before changes in texture, fine lines and firmness become more established.

Depending on the individual, that may mean fractional resurfacing, microneedling or a course of thermal treatments. The right plan may involve one treatment or a short series, supported by consistent home care and daily sun protection.

If you’re unsure which approach makes sense for your skin, we can plan it together.

Post-summer pigmentation, redness and texture do not all need the same treatment. Your plan should reflect the concern, your skin and the amount of downtime that makes sense for you.

* Event Skin Method: layered correction for multiple concerns.

* IPL: sun damage, visible redness and capillaries where appropriate.

* Microneedling: gradual collagen support, fine lines and uneven texture.

* Er:YAG resurfacing: more focused correction of texture and sun damage.

* Peels/home care: melasma and clients unsuited to light-based treatment.

Microneedling remains one of my favourite treatments for improving overall skin quality.

It creates a controlled renewal response that can gradually soften the appearance of fine lines, improve uneven texture and support firmer, healthier-looking skin.

At Event Skincare, it is never treated as a standard protocol. I consider your skin, concerns, treatment history and tolerance before adjusting the depth and approach—and whether microneedling is the right treatment for you at all.

The device matters. The assessment, technique and treatment plan matter more.

Every Restore Facial is composed in the moment.

Gentle resurfacing, targeted technology, massage and replenishing care are selected according to the skin in front of me.

The sequence may change. The intention remains: smoother texture, replenished hydration and a visibly refreshed complexion..

At Event Skincare, massage is never secondary. Within the Restore Facial, an unhurried sequence of touch and technique is woven into targeted skin work, leaving the complexion smoother, replenished and visibly refreshed.

One of my favourite parts of a facial is choosing the mask.

It’s one of the final decisions I make during your treatment, after I’ve had the chance to assess your skin and decide which products and techniques are the best fit for you that day.

It’s a small detail, but it’s one of the many ways I personalize every facial.
