Anyone else a card-carrying member of the “I’ll deal with it later” club? 🙋‍♀️😂.
You’re allowed to make your own appointments a priority too. 🤍

It’s a very precise science. 😂👌

More pressure doesn’t always mean better results.

Massage should be tailored to your body, your comfort, and your goals—not how much discomfort you can tolerate. 💆‍♀️

Have you ever believed this one?

The best part of my job is seeing you feeling better than when you walked in. That is truly my why!

We can’t help but notice these occupational hazards 🤣.
Which one are you?

Took an extra long weekend to go North and visit family. This filled my happy cup! Hope you had an amazing long weekend, and my heart goes out to my neighbours in the Vernon area being evacuated at this time due to wildfires.

Massage Q&A 💬

Is stretching always the answer?

Not always.

If a muscle feels tight, our first instinct is often to stretch it. But sometimes that feeling of “tightness” isn’t because the muscle is short—it may be working overtime because another muscle isn’t doing its job.

In those cases, stretching alone may only provide temporary relief.

The best approach depends on why the muscle feels tight in the first place. Sometimes the answer is stretching, sometimes it’s strengthening, improving movement, or manual therapy—and often it’s a combination of all of these.

That’s why an assessment is so important. Instead of guessing, we can identify what’s contributing to your discomfort and create a treatment plan that’s tailored to you.

💬 Have you ever stretched an area over and over, only to have it feel tight again the next day?

This quote popped into my inbox this morning, and I felt like sharing it. 💛

A little reminder as we head into the weekend:

✨ Show up.
✨ Stay consistent.
✨ Be kind—to others and to yourself.

Whatever your weekend looks like, I hope you take a little time to recharge. Sometimes self-care is a massage, sometimes it’s a walk outside, a good book, or simply slowing down.

Happy Friday! 💕
