It was a true pleasure to welcome City Council candidate Teresa May to meet the Umbrella Lifestyle Boxing Team. It is rare for candidates to take the time to visit in person and show genuine support for grassroots initiatives, and her visit meant a great deal to everyone involved. The women of this collective have been building something remarkable, growing in strength, confidence, and community with every session, and having that progress recognized by someone seeking to serve our city was both encouraging & inspiring. We are grateful for her time, her interest, and her support of the movement these women continue to build together. ☂️

Hey ladies in Kelowna, we understand it can be hard to make friends now a days and find inviting communities that aren't "clicky". So we established a beginner Women Only Boxing Class that's designed for people who have never tried boxing before to give it a go and make connections along the way. Class is hosted every Thursday (today!) at 7pm at 4493 Steward Road E. Message the instagram account .ca for details on directions. No better time than now to try something new!
