This weekend shook me.
It brought up conversations with my kids that I wasn't prepared for. The kind of conversations that make you realize they're growing faster than your heart is ready for.
As parents, we often feel like we need to have all the answers. We try to protect, fix, guide, and hold everything together. But this weekend reminded me that sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is simply be honest.
Honest about our feelings. Honest about our fears. Honest about the fact that we're still learning too.

When we show our kids that it's okay to have hard conversations, big emotions, and imperfect moments, we give them permission to do the same.
