Bursitis.... BURSITIS in my right shoulder. FFS! Sick for OVER 2 WEEKS and now this s**t. I'm slowly rendering myself useless. I miss my people, working and well just doing stuff!!! 😭 Ok thank you for your time during my rant. And an ENORMOUS thank you to my clients who have the patience of saints - love to you ❤️

Going on to 1 entire week of having this cold/flu/virus/bacteria sickness that has been kicking my ass!!... Feeling a little squirrelly 😵‍💫🤧🤕

📌 It is estimated that less than 1 in a million people are living with epithelioid hemangioendothelioma (EHE).
🔴 The rate of new cases is 3.8 cases per 10,000,000 people per year.
🟡 The total number of patients living with EHE is estimated at less than 1 per million.

Did you know that EHE patients (this is including me) even those on watch and wait, live in constant anxiety over the fact that EHE (an ultra rare vascular sarcoma for which there is no cure) can form anywhere in the body, as a single lesion at a single location, or multiple lesion across multiple locations and that EHE can turn from indolent too aggressive with little indication and fatal results.

That is why EHE patients are ever vigilant in monitoring the disease, even though the reality remains that when the time comes to undergo treatment, it might not even work.

That is why the EHE-RCFA supports ground breaking research to address the genetic mutation that drives EHE in the hope that one day soon, we have access to a treatment which works for all of us patients.
