The Bearded Lumberjack

Not something I do often, but I do know how to knit. My Mom taught me when I was a kid - she's a huge knitter. If you've ever seen my Christmas pictures with the beard ornaments and the cardigan, my Mom knit that cardigan.

This is Frankenbeard. Frankenbeard will be for sale at our upcoming markets! Perhaps an army of Frankenbeards.

Sometimes the intrusive thoughts win. I knew my beard was getting to a point where it could use a clean up, so I grabbed the scissors planning to just take off a bit. Then a bit more came off, and a bit more and a bit more.

Honestly, I had been considering going shorter than this, so I'm not entirely bummed. It's just not what I planned to do today. Though I feel like some people probably would barely see a difference anyways - trust me, I feel the difference.

And yes, I did (Unintentionally) wear Whitechapel merch two days in a row. Getting ready for that 20th anniversary tour!

Happy first day of Autumn! This is the kind of weather we live for. So much so, I actually went out for a walk.

With the announcement of our plans for October to raise funds and create care packages for the local homeless, we want to go back to a root of where we started with The Bearded Lumberjack. We always wanted to do good with The Bearded Lumberjack - supporting charities and good causes.

As a part of our relaunch we're going to introduce Lumberjacks Care. The goal of this is to keep us more consistent on doing good things with The Bearded Lumberjack.
