Chin Dimples - AKA "Orange Peel Chin"
An 'orange peel' chin is the term used to describe when pouting the chin has the appearance of an orange peel, with textural changes and dimpling (sometimes can also appear at rest). While there is actually no medical cause for concern, you might feel self-conscious about it. The most common treatment for relaxing these muscles is Botox.

What do you think of this result?
This patient wanted to rejuvenate her lips, specifically the volume and fullness.
Lip filler treatments are highly customized. There are many factors to consider - such as the natural anatomy, previous treatments to the lips, and the desired results. We have a range of dermal fillers that can provide either a very subtle change or a more noticeable amount of plumpness and volume. This patient wanted as natural of a result as possible. We restored lost volume and gave her lips a defined crisp border.

Turkey Neck?
At Beauty Within, we offer treatment with a biostimulatory filler called Radiesse®, which has been approved by Health Canada since 2005.
Radiesse® stimulates collagen and Elastin production for immediate, natural-looking results AND long-term improvement.
Calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) is what makes Radiesse® a unique injectable treatment. This particular filler uses a two-pronged approach:
➡️ First, it uses calcium microspheres suspended in a gel carrier to add structure under the skin where collagen (the skin’s natural structural support) has dwindled. These calcium-based microspheres are similar to the minerals found naturally in your bones and teeth. The microspheres then slowly dissolve over time through the normal metabolic process.

PRP treatments involve collecting a small amount of your blood and spinning it in a centrifuge machine to separate the platelets(yellow) from the red blood cells. As shown in this photo.
PRP is generally considered a safe and effective method of potentially reversing hair loss without surgery. PRP therapy can be used as a stand-alone treatment or in addition to other medical hair loss treatments to slow shedding, thicken hair strands, and improve hair quality.
While certain medical conditions, medications, and infections can cause hair loss and baldness, hair loss is most often genetic. Both men and women may benefit from this treatment.

Platelet rich plasma (PRP) is a high concentration of platelets in a small volume of plasma. The PRP is then injected or micro-needled into the scalp.
PRP therapy can stimulate inactive hair follicles into an active growth phase in those who have thinning hair or androgenic alopecia.
