I am a professional makeup artist, tea enthusiast, and cat lover living and working in London, Ontario. I’ve been a freelance makeup artist since 2014. I developed my makeup obsession slowly, starting in high school. I watched all the YouTube tutorials and read all the beauty blogs I could while completing my Honours Specialization in English Language and Literature at Western University. The year
after I graduated, which I call my “floater year,” I started working at a receptionist at a downtown salon. Turns out it wasn’t much of a floater year but the beginning of my career! Hairstyling and makeup artistry go hand-in-hand and the salon was a creative and nurturing environment for a budding makeup artist. I soon started working as an artist with MAC Cosmetics, learning about and practicing the entire makeup process from skin care to that final mist of fixing spray. That is when I found I could explore my passion and work as a makeup artist. Since then, I’ve been a freelance makeup artist working out of my home studio as well as offering mobile makeup for weddings, photoshoots, and group events. With a full wedding season complete and another booking up, I always keep the beautification process running smooth, on time, and a moment for each beautiful face in my chair to relax. I also love having clients visit my home studio! I enjoy hosting each individual, welcoming them into a tranquil space and leaving looking as beautiful as they feel! As of January 2015, I have been a member of Esteem Artistry's, formerly Makeup by Brittany, team of artists. I have received one on one training on a specific skill set and style that Brittany offers her clients. I provide a top quality standard of artistry and client service for many weddings and events yearly, while maintaining and managing my social media platforms associated with the brand.
