LIVED IN BALAYAGE & BLONDES
Hairstylist at @wisphairartistry
“Make me blonde and dimensional”
When your blonde starts feeling too bright, washed out, or high maintenance, adding lowlights can completely transform the look while creating a more natural looking brunette result. ✨
For this transformation, we used a full head of lowlights, a root smudge, and a custom toner to create a richer, dimensional brunette while still keeping softness and movement throughout the hair.
Why lowlights?
→ Add depth and dimension
→ Create a more natural, expensive looking result
→ Help blend harsh grow out lines
→ Make your color lower maintenance between appointments
Going darker doesn’t have to mean one solid color. Strategic lowlights allow us to rebuild depth while keeping the hair looking soft, lived in, and multidimensional. 🤎

Half head highlights → full transformation 🤍
We focused brightness exactly where it makes the biggest impact, a heavy face frame, brighter mids / ends and a softer rooted blend for a more seamless grow out.
Her goal was to keep that traditional rooted balayage feel rather than looking fully highlighted from root to end BUT keep the brightness you get from a traditional highlighted look. So we maintained depth through the root area and underneath while strategically placing brightness through the mids, ends, and faceframe for a soft yet impactful , dimensional, livedin blonde balayage✨
Also… I WISH I looked this good with no makeup😭 whats the secretttttt!!!!!🫶
Warm balayage refresh 🤎
She wanted to feel brighter, but without going too light or high maintenance,so we kept things soft and dimensional with a warm balayage.
This technique gives you brightness where it matters (especially around the face) while keeping depth through the root, so the growout stays seamless and doesn’t feel harsh. It also helps the ends look richer and healthier instead of overly ashy or washed out.
Brighter, warmer, and made to last ✨
Wet vs. Dry blonde — here’s what’s actually happening 👇
Wet hair absorbs light instead of reflecting it, which makes your colour look:
• deeper
• cooler
• less dimensional
Once it’s dry, light bounces off the hair, so you’ll notice:
• more brightness
• softer dimension
• warmth naturally showing through
If you’ve ever panicked seeing your hair wet… this is your reminder to wait for the blowdry 🤍
After years of no colour, shes back and feeling like herself🫶
To achieve this result we did 1001 foils , tip outs , balayage and glossed using all 😍
