Body Luxe Massage Therapy

After taking some much needed time to reset and reflect on life and making sure to balance things properly so I don’t get drained I have found a schedule to be posted soon for September. Something with more flexible hours for clients who work late, as well as limiting how many I offer in a day, this could mean longer wait times to get in but if you book in advance you shouldn’t have an issue getting in. I won’t be taking an emergent appointments due to that causing most of my strain.

Here are some summer hours for this month of August. You can also check online and see what I have available. But this week specifically won’t be listed!

Hope everyone’s summer is off to a great start🌞, I have got to enjoy a lot of adventures this first half of the summer, while also dealing with my health. A good break was much needed to get myself back to feeling ready to take on clients.

So with that being said, I had a change of plans for this week and I am going to open up a few appt times … one tomorrow, three openings Wednesday and one Thursday. (No evenings)

Still figuring out August hours, will have those released this week. Thanks for your support and continued patience.

My schedule is now open for June-August for previous clients.

Due to June being a busy month for the children I won’t be able to offer much for evening appointments with all the year ends wind up events/ activities they have planned….. and honestly just being crazy busy in June.

Note, I will currently be taking 3 new clients!!! When you book through the booking app I will see it on my end with which order everyone new was booked.

Had a great season with the broncos,really stepped out of my comfort zone to provide sports massage therapy. I learnt a lot in acute care as well as what it looks like for pre, interm and post therapy for athletes. I am looking forward to bringing my sports massage therapy to our community of meadow lake and hopefully expanding my practice in various ways this year.

Wow!! What a week to remember! I am tired, but overall ecstatic trying something new.

I put in roughly 16 plus hours per day volunteering this week, but it gave me an opportunity to learn how to apply my therapies on the spot for acute injuries. As well as the opportunity to work alongside Drs, N.P, nurses, Ems etc.

I volunteered as a R.M.T for the games as well as someone who is certified in KT pro taping with Ortho Canada. It came in handy for treating alot of elite Althletes this weekend in various Sports (wrestling, futsal, badminton, swimming, figureskating, bowling etc. ) If you dont know the summer and winter games have options under medic for offering your services. So something to keep in mind….

This wouldn’t of been possible if it wasnt for you amazing clients encouraging me to keep doing
what I am doing and growing. Also maybe changing up some of your appt times to a later week 😬😆. With that being said of course my family for always being so positive and encouraging with my out there ideas.

In a week I will be certified for my :

Sport Fellow Member in Sport Massage Therapy through the Canadian Sport Massage Therapists Association
Giving me the title of (SFM-CSMTA and RMT)

Infant massage willl be held at the FRC tomorrow at 10:30am. If you have joined the class before please come again, I have started showing how to blend massage techniques, as well as offering somatic stress exercises for the mommas.

Would love to see all kiddos from newborn to 5 years of age for this class.
Infant massage is for all ages 0-5.

It’s also a great bonding experience for dads, siblings etc to get involved with the massage…..not just limited to mothers.
