"How to remove dreadlocks"

1. Soak the dreadlocks in warm water with a residue-free shampoo or a dreadlock removal product.

2. Apply a heavy conditioner or a silicone-based lubricant to soften the hair.

3. Use a metal or plastic crochet hook (small size, like 0.5mm or 0.75mm) to gently pull individual hairs out of the knot.

4. Work slowly from the tip to the root, separating hairs with your fingers or a wide-tooth comb.

5. Continue conditioning and rinsing until all knots are loosened.

6. Shampoo and deep condition after removal to restore moisture.
